The Collect

Merciful God, you have prepared for those who love you

Such good things as pass our understanding:

Pour into our hearts such love toward you

That we, loving you in all things and above all things,

May obtain your promises,

Which exceed all that we can desire;

Through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,

Who is alive and reigns with you,

In the unity of the Holy Spirit,

One God, now and for ever. Amen

Church will be open for prayer.

Summer Holidays – Friday Prayers & Bears will be extended to become

Summer at St Andrews Play and Praise”

10am – 12 noon Friday mornings throughout August, at church. There will be craft activities, story time, music and play, prayers and snacks. Please spread the word, and … as always, we will need volunteers to make this a success. Please take some flyers and hand out this week. Thank you.

Coffee Corner

We hope you are beginning to enjoy the benefits of the Coffee Corner and we would be pleased to have some volunteers to help with this task.

To help keep the church mice at bay, we need to clean and clear up after ourselves, wiping down and emptying the bins. Bins are provided for general waste, recycling and ‘slops’.

Ideally, this would be done on a rota basis. Would anyone like to lead a team and offer to make a coffee rota for our church services? It’s an opportunity to get to know each other, share in fellowship and provide a really warm welcome to new, as well as regular visitors to our church.

There is also a ‘piggy bank’ to collect donations for coffee (suggestion £1) to cover the cost as we don’t wish to burden the time and pockets of the same people each week. Thank you.

*** All Rotas abandoned for August – if you would like to help, just do it or phone Revd Rosie.
