The purpose of our Holy Week prayer walk is to take a good look at our parish for whom Christ was prepared to die. It won’t be a bunch of people walking quietly we will chat with each other and stop from time to time. Of course we can’t cover every street but I hope you can see that we have covered most areas. If you cannot join us then please use this week to walk down your own street and simply pray quietly. Look out at us if we go past your street and give us a wave.
Father, look with mercy on this your community for which our Lord Jesus was content to be betrayed and to suffer death upon the cross. Renew our commitment to be Christ’ s servants among these people and to proclaim the good news of Jesus on every possible occasion. Amen
