30 Sep 2018 – Taize Service at St Agnes

Dear Friends,

May I invite you to join us for an ecumenical Taize-style service reflecting on the Season of Creation. The service is organised by members from the Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist and United Reformed church communities in Windsor. We hope the service will offer a quiet hour of readings, chants and prayers that reflect God’s gift of light; given through Creation and through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The service will be held at St Agnes Church, Spital, St Leonard’s Road, Windsor, this coming Sunday 30 September at 5pm.
I do hope you can come and enjoy some time of peace and contemplation in fellowship with other Christians in Windsor.

Afterwards we are holding a Community Tea with homemade cakes, tea, coffee and squash. All donations for the tea are being given to the Christian Aid Harvest Appeal which, this year, is match-tunded by the European Union to the level of 5x the donation. Each £1 that you give becomes £5 for Christian Aid.

I attach a poster for the service.
Do please forward this message to friends, family or other members of your church congregation who might like to come.

God bless,
Sarah Gardner

PS: Parking is very limited at the church but there is plenty on nearby roads – Bulkley Avenue and beside Stag Meadow Football Ground (no fixture on Sunday)
