Sunday 3rd June saw a good turnout of the St Andrews and All Saints congregations for an afternoon’s fellowship and work. The major task for the day was to get ground ready to lay a patio outside the Lodge.
There was also weeding and tidying of selected graves, ivy removal from the church walls, clearing overhanging branches from the nature trail, and general taming of unwanted shrubs. The weather was glorious and we had just enough time for a quick wash and change before the 5.00 Evensong service.
