Dear team
I have several ancestors who were buried in Clewer Church yard – all Bambridges. Some were married there too. In addition one ancestor William Samuel Bambridge is said to have played the church organ in services there when he was aged 10 !
That was in 1853.
I am visiting Windsor on Tuesday 26th March and would very much like to see the inside of the church. I see you will be open that day till 6.0pm- perfect!
Do you hold any records regards who played the organ in the 1850s?
Any photos on display of the church in the 19th century?
Thank you for your help, much appreciated
Kind regards
Fiona Bambridge
